Development Team Deploys New Advanced Scheduling Platform Module and Makes Significant Progress Realizing the 2017 Product Development Roadmap
September 12, 2017 – Fair Lawn, NJ – UltraShipTMS development teams successfully rolled out UltraShipTMS version 5.11 back in late July and are preparing to deploy version 5.13 before the end of September. These new releases (along with the internal update v5.12) represent hundreds of upgrades to existing features as well as scores of new features and functionality across every module of the UltraShipTMS platform. From, CORE TMS to Ultra Freight Pay, from UltraFleet to UltraYMS and the LoadFusion Optimizer, improvements and enhancements abound.
Some of the highlights of v5.11 include enhancements to the Freight Payment and Audit module providing tighter invoice control and more flexibility to address business rules. Updates to the TMS Reporting Suite include improved eDash graphs and charts, updated check call compliance reports, the addition of carrier compliance indicators to the on-time performance report and many others. The v5.11 release also included the rollout of the vaunted new Advanced Scheduling Module – the latest new platform element added to the UltraShipTMS suite. The new module supports improved on-time reporting, superior communications between transportation stakeholders and tighter controls over accessorial spend by automating appointment and bay scheduling. The timeline visualizer (watch a video here) in this new module is a great example of the innovative interface design enhancements UltraShip developers have been making across the entire platform.
Version 5.13 is nearing its release date of September 25 and will contain a whole raft of additional upgrades and enhancements to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the platform. The new release brings improvements to spot bidding functions, refinements to reporting filters, enhancements to private fleet dispatching capabilities, improved automation of carrier reporting, and a new integration with Paycor, a fleet driver time and attendance tool.
